BVC Waiting List: 22 May 2014
This is the first waiting list of the candidates for Visual Communications. Please note, you will be given chance ONLY if there are any drop outs from the candidates already selected/ vacancies arise. Our College will call the deserving candidates, and update the waiting list.

My brother's name is Nikhil Chakraborty. Application number is 9398. His name is not on the waiting list. Can you please let me know the status of his application. If his name does not appear on the waiting list, does it mean he is not selected?

Dear "VisComm Aspirant", your name as you have given does not appear in the waiting list! But if it appears by any other name, you must wait for the other names before yours (if any) to get their chance.
DeleteBut when your name does appear, the College Office will inform you both through this blog/site (by updating the waiting list) and by phone.

Amrritha KS, I don't see your name in the published waiting list. If your name has to come up, those already published here should first get, and then your name may come up. I suppose that gives you some clarification?

ReplyDeleteKoustov Sarkar, it is not necessary to conduct a survey of "all the candidates in the waiting list" and ask me on "all" their behalf. I could clarify an individual's doubts on his/her own merits.
DeleteWhen you name moves a step up, the website will be updated. And when the first person on the list gets admission, her/his name will be removed from the "waiting list" and the person after him/her will occupy the first position.
The "admitted" person will be called by the office to inform.
So you know it both ways!
Anonymous, I am sorry that I can't answer your "anonymous" questions. You are sure of what you are asking, please give complete name and application number.
