Mass Communication at SJC - tests & interviews

23 May. The final round of personal interviews (including test for new applicants) will be held on 30 May 2015, Saturday, at SJC PG Block, from 9.30 a.m.

Invites have been sent to the fresh applicants and those who were put on waiting list as well as those who had missed the previous interview round.

Even if you have not received an invite, please come, if you belong to one of the above 'categories', since we will be closing admissions with this round.This is the last round of interviews!

While coming, please get :-
i) hard copy of your application form
ii) all your documents (ensure you have a minimum of 50% marks in UG exams; SC/ST: 45%)
iii) portfolio if you have any
iv) parents (or guardian, in case out-station parents can't be present)

Note: Those who had answered one of the previous tests or interviews, need not attend the written test this time; directly come for a fresh interview. For the fresh applicants, they need to sit the test and face an interview on the same day. So, please come prepared for that.

BVC & BVoc Interviews: final round

23 May. The final round of interviews for Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVC/ BVA) and BVoc (Animation & Filmmaking) will begin on 25 May 2015 - Monday. Information has been sent to the candidates put on waiting list/asked to wait in the previous rounds as well as new applicants.

Since we mean to fill the few vacancies created by those who have delayed doing their admissions, there will not be much time and many seats left for you.

Please get:-
i) your portfolios - as far as possible in hard copy
ii) your parents (or, guardian, if the student is an outstation candidate)
iii) all the documents like marks cards and certificates
iv) hard copy of your application

MA Mass Communication - final call

22 May. For the benefit of those who applied late for MA (Journalism & Mass Communication), we will have a final round of test and interviews NEXT WEEK (in the last week of May). A few applicants have not yet submitted the hard copy of their applications. If you have not done so, please do it immediately. Next week on, we will not accept any application for Mass Communication programme.

For those who contacted us by phone/email: If you are applying now, please ensure that before you click 'submit' application online, take a print out - hard copy, and then 'submit'. After that take a photocopy of your hard copy and submit one the office IMMEDIATELY.

And when you come for entrance test and interview, please get that copy of your application, along with any port folio, and your parents/ guardians.
