Next round of Entrance Tests for Mass Communication & Visual Communication

Our next and final round of entrance exams for MA (Journalism & Mass Communication) and BA (Visual Arts) will be held on 15 May 2015. The exam will commence at 9.00 am, and candidates shortlisted for interviews will be announced by afternoon. The interviews will be held on 16 May 2015 in the Post Graduate block. BA (Visual Arts is also called Visual Communication).

While coming for the interviews, all the candidates are requested to (mandatory)-
1. Get their parents/ guardians for the interview
2. A hard copy of the application
3. Their complete port-folio - in hard copy (except when it is a film/ audio)
4. All the certificates and marks cards.

If you have successfully submitted the application, please don't wait for the invitation to this; just walk in with a hard copy of your application (a must!) It is possible, your hard copy has not reached us!

Mass Communication:
Entrance Exam for MA in Journalism & Mass Communication will be held on 17 May 2015. This is the last and final round; no more rounds of exams. Your final chance to be enrolled at SJC.

Syllabus: The Entrance Test will test your current affairs, your knowledge from reading newspapers/ watching TV/ radio/ informative websites and also your English and your writing skills. So prepare for this.   You can't take this for granted if you mean to study at St Josephs College.

Written test :                                                 17 May 2015, 9.00 am (UG Block)
Shortlist:                                                         17 May 2015 - by afternoon (Board, Blog, & website)
Interview (to the shortlisted candidates):      18 & 19 May 2015, PG Block.
If you are coming from outstation, remember to keep a spare day for your turn.

Get all your media/creative work you have done so far. This will add value to your claim.
Get your parents/guardians - compulsorily; we need them for the interviews
Get a hard copy of your application which you have submitted to the office/ online. It is a must.

Don't wait for invitation - sometimes your applications may not reach us in time to send an invite. Walk in on 17th with the above-mentioned requirements.
